I have read that it only works if you consolidate everything to separate drive. I decided I would try the roundtrip to Davinci Resolve via AAF and re-grade in Davinici but Resolve cannot recognize the linked clips even though I point it to the media directories.

However, what about cases when the Camera itself creates a proxy file, why should I have to re-create proxies in Avid? It still did not work.Īvid's tech support answer is that unless you create a proxy clip from Avid, Relink will not work. I retranscoded the graded clip with the mono track and also changed the timecode manually in the clip in Avid. I did notice 2 differences in the clips that I had missed before - for some reason the timecode on my original clip does start 1:00 but at 5:36 and the audio on the graded track defaulted to "stereo" vs mono.

I tried doing what you described but could not get it to work. Thank you for the continued input, Bruno.
